Test UAT Coordinator (German-speaking)

Location: Hybrid, ~30% on-site

Languages: German B2 (required), English C1/C2

Contract: 6 months + possible extension


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Test UAT Coordinator to oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across multiple workstreams in a large-scale enterprise environment. This role requires excellent coordination, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to independently plan and manage UAT cycles.

You will act as a key interface between business stakeholders, IT teams, testers, and project leadership to ensure smooth and successful UAT execution.


Key Responsibilities

UAT Planning & Preparation

  • Independently prepare and maintain UAT test plans, including timelines, resources, scope, and dependencies.

  • Ensure that test scenarios and cases fully reflect business requirements.

  • Coordinate the creation, review, approval, and ongoing maintenance of UAT test cases.

  • Plan and oversee the setup of UAT environments, including test data preparation.

Execution & Coordination

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT, and testing teams.

  • Manage UAT execution across all sub-streams, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.

  • Monitor test progress, identify blockers, and address issues to keep UAT activities on track.

Defect Management

  • Track, prioritize, and escalate defects identified during UAT.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Provide clear reporting and documentation of defect status and testing outcomes.

Closure & Go-Live Readiness

  • Consolidate UAT results and prepare recommendations for go/no-go decisions.

  • Ensure proper documentation, sign-off, and compliance with acceptance criteria.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work in hybrid delivery models (agile + classical).

  • Temporarily take over tasks of related roles when required (e.g., vacation or illness cover).


Required Qualifications

Education

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a similar field

  • OR

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.

Professional Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience as a UAT Coordinator or similar QA role.

  • 2–3 years of project experience in software development environments.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Testing methodologies

    • Requirements analysis

    • Defect lifecycle & risk analysis

    • Acceptance criteria and quality assurance standards

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Jira + Xray

    • Confluence

Languages

  • German: B2 (mandatory)

  • English: C1/C2


Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong ability to train, guide, and transfer knowledge to users and testers.
