Automation Tester

Mode of work: Hybrid (in Warsaw ; 2 times per week in the office)

Contract: B2B

Summary:The role primarily focuses on the automation of testing processes within the team, ensuring high-quality software delivery while adhering to testing standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Continuous Automation of newly created Test Cases.

• Maintain the automation test code repository following best practices.

• Conduct Daily Test Automation Runs and review results.

• Update the list of Automated Test Cases in the repository and test management tool.

• Provide continuous fixes and required code changes.

• Plan and Execute regression tests for each release.

• Support team by early discovery and communication of defects and issues.

• Report defects, including handling and verifying them.

• Recommend appropriate actions for the team after test executions.

• Identify new scenarios for automation or extending existing ones.

• Collaborate actively with the team to secure high-quality delivery.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Test Automation.

• Experience in Automation Testing of modern UI (Web) in Selenium.

• Strong Java coding/test coding skills (5+ years).

• API Automation Testing experience using REST API and SOAP (3+ years).

• Experience maintaining code in Bitbucket integrated with Jenkins.

• Remote repository (GIT) experience (5+ years).

• General testing knowledge at the level of ISTQB Foundation Level.

• Experience in test management tools (preferably qTest or similar) – 3+ years.

• Practical experience with Jira/Confluence; SAFe experience is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the Financial industry, preferably Nordea.

Other Details:The candidate must be present in the office for 2 days per week starting September 1. Required language: English.
