QA Specialist

As a QA Specialist at ULAM LABS, you will primarily write tests cases and perform manual testing to ensure software quality and identify bugs, while also contributing to test automation in the future. You will work closely with the team and client on a Python-based MVP (MedTech project) helping maintain reliability and performance.

Your daily missions

• Analyzing user stories for feasibility and clarity

• Designing and executing test scenarios and cases based on business requirements

• Creating automated tests in the future

• Collaborating closely with the Client and Full-stack Developers

• Detecting, tracking, and resolving software bugs and inconsistencies

• Applying quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle

• Participating actively in sprint planning, assessing QA risks, and estimating ticket effort together with developers

• Sharing ideas to improve the application and testing processes

• Working daily with tools like Jira and Confluence

• Presenting demos to clients and showcasing your work as your role develops

  
  

Your profile

• 2-4 years’ commercial experience in manual software testing of web applications within similar custom software development companies

• Experience in SCRUM and working with other QA Specialists and Developers

• Familiarity with Postman and issue-tracking tools like Jira

• Strong team-working skills, including giving and receiving feedback

• Looking to build a career in QA with a long-term focus

• Self-disciplined, proactive, and eager to develop

• Strong verbal and written English (min. B2) and Polish (min. C1)

• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (min. 2 office days/week)

• Being familiar with test automation using tools like Cypress 

• Willingness to develop skills in test automation

How do we recruit?

Here's a general overview of our recruiting process for this position.

1. CV review

   Your application will be carefully reviewed to know if you meet the basic requirements.

2. Phone interview

   During the 30-minute call, we will get to know each other better. Also, by talking in English.

3. HR and project-tech meetings

   This step is divided into two parts. The online HR interview includes a company presentation and an in-depth interview with soft questions. During the technical on-site part, you can showcase all your talents by answering technical questions asked by your future supervisor and teammates. Here, you can also talk about the details of the role.

4. Offering with feedback
