Senior Android Developer

We seek a Senior Android Developer to join EPAM Systems in Poland.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing full-scale applications using Android, ensuring optimal performance, and contributing innovative solutions for our technology-driven environment.

Please note, office work 3 days from the EPAM office in either Gdansk/Wroclaw/Krakow is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop software using a microservice architecture approach

• Participate in the development of new features from scratch

• Participate in software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation

• Provide technical advice and assist in solving programming problems

• Write clean, scalable, and testable code while maintaining development best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and integration testing

REQUIREMENTS

• Having at least 5 years of relevant professional experience

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java

• Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, Material Design principles, and RESTful APIs for backend integration

• Upper-intermediate or higher English level both written and spoken

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous experience with Google Cloud (GCP) would be considered as a strong advantage
