Project
You’ll be part of a team responsible for developing an Edge Controller — a Linux-based embedded device with SCADA/BMS functionalities. You’ll work closely with backend and system engineers, contributing to the design and development of embedded software and backend services running on edge devices. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining Linux-based microservices, integrating industrial communication protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, and BACnet, and containerizing applications using Docker.
Expected competences and knowledge
3+ years of experience as an Embedded Developer / Embedded Linux Engineer
Strong proficiency in C++ or Rust
Solid experience with Linux-based embedded systems
Practical knowledge of Docker and microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with industrial/IoT protocols: MQTT, Modbus, BACnet
Domain knowledge of SCADA / BMS systems
English proficiency at a minimum B2 level (technical documentation and communication)
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional engineering team
