Java Developer – Legacy Application Maintenance

Location: 100% Remote Start Date: ASAP / Within 1 Month / Flexible Contract Type: B2B (170–180 PLN/h + VAT)

About the Client

Industry: Finance Project: Technical maintenance of a legacy application (sunset mode)

Your Responsibilities

Monitor logs and resolve technical issues.
Prepare releases and handle ServiceDesk tickets (3rd line support).
Perform data fixes (SQL scripts) and collaborate with DB team.
Resolve incidents escalated from 1st and 2nd line support.
Work with LDAP data integration.
Support preparation for data migration to a new application (Java 21, Spring Boot 3) planned for early 2026.

Requirements

Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework (classic, not Boot).
Good knowledge of Hibernate and SQL.
Basic understanding of LDAP.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain legacy systems.

Nice to Have

Experience with migration projects.
Familiarity with modern Java (Java 21) and Spring Boot.
