We’re looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer / Application Architect to help elevate our engineering standards and shape the future of our application landscape. In this role, you’ll combine strong hands-on development skills with a forward-looking architectural mindset to drive technical excellence, support key design decisions, and mentor the team.

What You’ll Do

Lead the design and development of application components using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-ready architectures
Drive architectural improvements and contribute to long-term solution design
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and internal stakeholders to refine requirements and align technical solutions
Mentor team members on engineering best practices and clean architectural principles
(Optional) Support requirements engineering by clarifying business needs and shaping technical specifications

What You Bring

Deep experience with Java, Spring Boot, and building scalable, cloud-ready systems
Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, distributed systems, and API design (experience with Azure is a plus)
Hands-on skills in CI/CD (e.g., GitLab), containerization (Docker), and modern software quality practices
Proactive, structured, and quality-driven approach with the ability to lead discussions and guide technical direction
Strong English communication skills; German is a plus but not required
