Project
You will be involved in a financial project focused on developing and maintaining modern solutions within the Cards Technology domain. The project aims to deliver innovative card-related financial services, enhance existing systems, and support the evolution of digital banking products. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and contributing to the continuous improvement of services used by thousands of customers.
Responsibilities you'll have
- Designing, developing and maintaining Java-based applications within the Cards Technology domain
- Collaborating closely with your agile team and the ART (Agile Release Train)
- Communicating and working with various internal and external stakeholders
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing applications
- Optimizing application performance and ensuring high code quality
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation for developed functionalities
- Participating in continuous integration processes and contributing to workflow improvements
- Contributing ideas, participating in experimentation, and helping shape future solutions
Expected competences and knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of commercial Java development experience
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, clean code principles and continuous integration practices
- Hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Kafka and SQL
- Very good understanding of REST API design
- Frontend experience with at least one technology: JavaScript, Angular or React
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments
Nice to have
- Experience in C++ development
- Knowledge of Spring WebFlux
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Background in the financial industry
