Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (1-2 days remote per week).

As a Java Software Engineer you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution delivering a broad range of financial services to individuals, corporations and institutions. You will be part of a team developing and maintaining scalable, performant solutions for mission-critical trade booking and control systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and impactful platform development within the front office environment. You will collaborate with stakeholders, integrate systems, optimize performance, maintain documentation, and innovate on the client’s trading platform.

Your main responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable, performant solutions for trade booking and control systems
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and impactful platform development
Collaborate with stakeholders within the front office environment
Integrate systems and optimize performance
Maintain technical documentation
Innovate within the front office environment

You're ideal for this role if you have:

Commercial Java experience (5 years)
Familiarity with other programming languages
Knowledge of C++ or Python
Understanding of SRE principles
Experience in using Git for software version control
Strong verbal communication skills
Strong written communication skills
