Java Software Developer

Your tasks:

• Design, develop, and improve automation frameworks for the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees;

• Apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment;

• Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements;

• Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues;

• Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs;

• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in designing and building automation frameworks using Java and Python;

• Expert-level hands-on programming knowledge of Java and Python;

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of working with test automation tools/ frameworks like Cucumber, TestNG;

• Knowledge and experience of building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab/Jenkins;

• Ability to work with analysts and other subject matter experts in a globally distributed team;

• Demonstrable knowledge of applying testing processes and principles in an Agile environment;

• Experience of working with Gitlab, Autosys and Unix shell scripting;

• Good working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedure, functions, SQL queries);

• Hands-on experience of working on Azure (AKS, Databricks) is desirable – nice to have;

• Strong communication skills, from making presentations to technical writing.
