Java Cloud Native Lead -Hybrid Lipski / Mazowieckie, Poland(HX/TK)

Dear Consultant,

We are hiring a Java Cloud Native Lead to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend and cloud-native applications.

This role requires strong backend engineering skills combined with expertise in database design, SQL optimisation, microservices, and GCP cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Backend Engineering

• Develop cloud-native applications using Java, Go, or Python

• Build and maintain microservices and distributed systems

• Utilize GCP SDKs and cloud services for development and deployment

• Integrate new and existing systems into scalable backend architectures

Database Engineering & Administration

• Design and model optimal database structures

• Create tables, define relationships, and enforce data integrity

• Develop schema, stored procedures, functions, and views in:

  • MySQL

  • PostgreSQL

  • Oracle

  • SQL Server

• Support complex query tuning and schema refinement

• Handle data migration, import/export, and ETL processes

Security, Compliance & Maintenance

• Perform DB administration: user management, backups, optimisation, security

• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations

• Support disaster recovery and performance tuning efforts

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with software engineers, architects, and designers

• Translate data requirements into technical solutions

• Communicate database structures and data flows clearly

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Java, Go, Python

• Hands-on experience with microservices

• GCP SDKs and cloud service experience

• Strong SQL programming expertise

• Ability to understand complex data flows and databases

• Excellent communication & stakeholder collaboration skills
