Kraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution delivering innovative solutions for global markets technology. You will be joining a dynamic development team responsible for the full lifecycle of applications, from requirement analysis to testing, deployment, and production support. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement scalable systems while maintaining close collaboration with product owners and other engineers. You will be contributing to both new feature delivery and ongoing product stability in a collaborative, agile environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Working within a small, agile team with a dedicated product owner

• Breaking down business requirements into deliverable user stories

• Designing solutions aligned with technology standards and constraints

• Developing features using Java and Python across front-end and back-end

• Supporting applications in production as part of the team’s responsibility

• Identifying and managing areas of technical debt in the codebase

• Pairing with other engineers to share knowledge and improve solutions

• Testing solutions to ensure stability, scalability, and compliance with guidelines

• Delivering code iteratively into production environments

• Collaborating with geographically dispersed stakeholders and teams

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 3–5 years of proven software development experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Python

• Ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions

• Familiarity with agile development practices and iterative delivery

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required

• Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written

• Experience in production support for business-critical systems

• Ability to mentor and collaborate with fellow engineers

• Prior exposure to event streaming technology

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with JavaScript or Vue.js

• Knowledge of machine learning, NLP, or AI concepts

• Background in data science or data engineering practices
