This is a Wrocław-based hybrid opportunity – 3 days in the office per week.

As a Backend Developer, you will be working for our client – a global leader in quantitative and systematic investment management. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications that support AI-driven research and financial technology solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
Integrate machine learning (ML) and large language model (LLM) technologies.
Build high-performance APIs and data processing pipelines.
Develop and optimize cloud-based and on-premises infrastructures.
Ensure adherence to best software engineering practices.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Stay updated on the latest AI trends and best practices.

You're ideal for the role if you have:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development with proficiency in Python.
Strong understanding of AI/ML/LLM fundamentals.
Backend expertise in developing RESTful APIs.
Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for high-quality software engineering.
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
Experience in modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular is desirable.
Experience with AWS is desirable.
