PHP Developer

Your main responsibilities beyond the will to build great software:

• Writing clean, high-quality PHP code using Symfony - both in greenfield projects and in maintaining existing features.

• Ensuring your code is covered with tests and ready for production.

• Delivering thoughtful, constructive comments during code reviews.

• Recommending and implementing improvements to architecture and workflow.

• Working closely with the team to choose the best possible technical solutions.

• Collaborating with backend, frontend and DevOps specialists.

• Participating in technical discussions and sharing knowledge.

Must have:

• Minimum 4 years of proven commercial experience as a PHP Developer.

• Excellent knowledge of Symfony (4/5/6).

• Strong proficiency in PHP 7/8.

• Confidence working with MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Practical experience with Git, Composer, Docker.

• Experience in building and integrating REST API.

• Solid understanding of design patterns and clean code principles.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Experience we'd appreciate, too:

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with RabbitMQ/ Kafka

• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS.

• Ability to write automated tests (PHPUnit/Behat).
