Director, Product Management, Google Cloud, Security Products

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience leading product management teams.
• Experience with cybersecurity and cloud security.
• Experience working cross-functionally, partnering with groups such as engineering, product management, product marketing, UX, and UI.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's in Computer Science or Business.
• 20 years of experience leading product management teams, creating successful enterprise software products and platforms and guided by customer empathy.
• Experience mentoring and motivating to build leaders.
• Domain expertise in AI/ML.
• Excellent organization, problem solving, prioritization, and written and verbal communication skills.

About the job

As Director, you will drive product strategy and industry thought leadership, and help accelerate adoption of Google Cloud. You will lead a high-performing team of Product Managers including Group Product Managers on the Security Command Center and reCAPTCHA Enterprise teams. You will utilize an understanding of Cloud Security, Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), Bot Detection/Fraud Abuse, and SIEM/SOAR. You will collaborate closely with engineering, Go-to-Market (GTM), internal and industry stakeholders, analysts, and customers to maximize Google Cloud’s market impact and drive successful customer outcomes. You will be creative and analytical, bringing innovative storage solutions to market, managing complex product portfolios at different maturity stages, and scaling high-performing teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000-$383,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Define and advocate for a cohesive, differentiated product strategy and long-term outlook for Google Cloud Security Product portfolio, capitalizing on opportunities in Security and Agentic AI. Evolve the CNAPP and Bot Detection products to be AI-enabled and enablers of AI/Agents. 
• Collaborate with engineering to establish and execute against a product roadmap designed to scale the business significantly, effectively managing multiple products.
• Build relationships with key internal partners to ensure security solutions meet workload needs. Drive effective collaboration with strategic external partners.
• Partner effectively with Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to define GTM strategies, enable the field, provide channels for customer acquisition, and accelerate business growth and adoption.
• Lead, mentor, and scale the Cloud Security Product Management team, building upon their current successes to unlock greater potential, foster innovation, and meet the demands of this high-growth space.
