Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in electrical system design, prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support.
  • Experience with embedded systems, processor architecture, communication protocols (e.g., USB C, SPI, I2C, UART, MIPI, DSI, DDR), Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) and power regulation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a electrical engineering design and validation technical environment.
  • Proficiency with both schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
  • Ability to execute work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$151,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the electrical design/validation, focused on digital interfaces (e.g., USB C, SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, DDR and various MIPI standards), power regulation, SoC.
  • Work with cross functional engineering teams (e.g., mechanical, RF, antenna, sensors, display, camera, and Layout) to bring new designs from concept to production.
  • Review factory test requirements, assisting in software bring up, traveling on-site to the manufacturer, ensuring the design is built and tested.
  • Contribute to design tool enhancements or development.
  • Perform all electrical engineering tasks related to sub-system design including schematic capture, circuit signal integrity simulation along with the team. Work with the CAD team on layout designs on multiple mediums like rigid PCB, hybrid rigid/FPC assemblies.
