  • 5 years of experience with full-stack development, including experience with prototyping, and programming in Java or Kotlin.
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
  • Experience building and developing scaled full stack web, backend, and mobile applications.

In this role, you will lead 0-1 style execution for growing subscribers for the Google One AI plans. You will navigate ambiguity, bringing technical clarity to complex problems, and exerting influence across backend, mobile, and web platforms.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
  • Drive the near-term and long-term goals for attached teams. Work in a dynamic 0-1 environment.
  • Partner and collaborate with engineering teams, product management, and UX designers to rapidly prototype ideas and influence the roadmap to ensure the timely development of high-impact business solutions.
  • Collaborate, provide mentorship, and develop other team members. Help define the long-term technical roadmap, bring clarity to ambiguity, and explore reusable and scalable implementation solutions. Proactively spot new opportunities and future needs.
  • Participate in and lead design discussions across backend, mobile, and web platforms and influence across various product and leadership teams.
