Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, financial planning and analysis, business intelligence, or a related industry.
- 4 years of experience in analyzing and translating data into insights, providing recommendations for improvements, and presenting results of analysis to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python or SQL.
- Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), data pipelines, and systems architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with service design or information architecture.
- Experience in utilizing AI-based tools or agents to solve operational problems.
- Experience with behavioral change and adoption for new systems or workflows.
- Experience with implementing new operational systems or tools in an organizational setting, and with project execution and delivery.
- Knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and the needs of Design and Research teams.

As a UX Program Manager (UX Programs & Operations), you will combine expert project management skills with a passion for user experience to help your team improve the design of products that are used by billions of users. You’ll harmonize the work of UX Designers, Researchers, Content Strategists, UX Engineers, and other UX disciplines, while also working closely with our Engineering and Product Manager cross-functional partners, to drive UX team objectives and create innovative experiences for our business, products, and users.
In this role, you will bridge user needs and technical implementation by focusing on Strategy and Operations managed Business Operations systems and support the Program and Operations organization in Core User Experience (UX).The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design and implement operational systems that bridge business requirements with technical feasibility.
- Automate manual business processes utilizing scripts (e.g., Python, Apps Script), SQL, or Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based tools.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of internal operational tools, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Lead change management efforts for new systems, ensuring adoption and behavioral change among stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Program and Operations and Strategy and Operations leadership to identify opportunities for automation and technical optimization.
