Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.
The Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) team is dedicated to establishing a supply chain that is as resilient as the cloud itself, connecting innovation to execution by building global partnerships and accelerating time-to-market for the hardware that delivers Google's compute, AI, and capabilities to customers everywhere, including their own data centers and locations. The supply chain effort is driven by two roles: the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, who is responsible for leading sourcing and supplier strategy for OEM hardware (Compute, Network, and Storage) and system integration partners, and the Manager of GDC Demand and Supply Planning.
You will lead the planning function to ensure on-time global deployments by mastering project-level demand signals and translating them into material supply, fulfillment, and installation schedules. You will serve as the primary coordinator between sales/deployment and manufacturing/logistics.
