Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, category management, growth strategy, or analytics, or 2 years of experience with advanced degree.
3 years of experience in a strategy and operations or consulting role.
3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
2 years of experience with data analysis and data tools (e.g., SQL).
Preferred qualifications:
Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience at management consulting firm, corporate strategy, investment bank or similar project management experience in a technology/media company.
Experience in analytics and in using SQL and working with large data sets to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
Ability to multi-task and lead complex, ambiguous strategic and operational initiatives.
Ability to influence cross-functional groups and executive leadership.
Excellent executive level communication skills.

The YouTube Business Central Strategy and Operations Team is responsible for leading global, cross-functional, strategic initiatives to drive the unprecedented growth and health of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include strategic planning and business operations, incentives design and operations, and business strategy and operations for the three regions: Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
As Central Strategy and Operations Analyst within this team, you will be responsible for driving the activation of key YouTube products at scale. You will combine your investigative expertise with strategic thinking to design, evaluate, and optimize our central incentives systems. This complex system balances multiple priorities and goals in a unified way to ensure our Partnerships team is driving towards long-term, sustainable success for both YouTube and our partners. In this role, you will gain direct exposure to executive leaders as you present your compelling proposals and demonstrate their impact.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Design, pilot, and operationalize scaled product activation strategies to drive YouTube’s biggest product priorities.
Identify and execute on opportunity areas for improving YouTube’s central scaled incentives system.
Own end-to-end problem solving life-cycle from generating hypotheses, analyzing data, distilling insights to communicating recommendations in a structured and compelling way.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in product activation, segmentation, partnerships teams, and technology and insights to drive impact. Develop and deliver business recommendations to a wide range of audiences, through effective communications and compelling data.
Navigate YouTube's data warehouse to access and work with relevant data using SQL and other query languages.
