Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience managing products from conception to launch and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with distributed systems, databases, or cloud technology.

In this role, you'll own the strategy, roadmap and execution for a vital part of Firestore which is the developer experience. This includes ownership of product areas like the Firestore query engine, along with developer interfaces and Software Development Kits (SDKs) for MongoDB compatibility, Datastore compatibility and Firestore's native real-time and offline capabilities. You'll also be able to work with a very collaborative team of Product Managers (PMs) and Engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define strategy and roadmap through research of market trends, latent market demand and customer demand.
  • Drive product requirements through customer research and defining customer user journeys.
  • Drive product development execution by collaborating with engineering, user-experience design, finance, product operations, marketing, and field teams.
  • Drive messaging and positioning, pricing and go to market strategy for your launches.
  • Be accountable for measuring, forecasting and driving adoption funnel for areas of ownership.
