Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in network penetration testing and manipulation of network infrastructure.
5 years of experience leading or managing technical teams.
Experience with tools used for wireless, web application, and network security testing.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as required.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in shell scripting or automating simple tasks using Perl, Python, or Ruby.
Experience in developing applications using C#, ASP, .NET, ObjectiveC, Go, or Java (J2EE).
Understanding of reverse engineering techniques for malware, data obfuscators, or ciphers.
Understanding of network protocols, data on the wire, and covert channels.
Ability to manage multiple projects and manage tight deadlines.
Excellent mastery of Unix/Linux/Mac/Windows operating systems, including bash and Powershell.

In this role, as Mandiant Red Team Manager, you will lead offensive security engagements by combining deep expertise in information security and computer science with leadership of highly technical red teamers. You will execute covert operations against networks, perform advanced application manipluation, break into segmented secure zones at Fortune 500 banks, and reverse engineer applications and encryption methods while remaining undetected. As lead project manager for all offensive engagements, you will scope projects, manage team metrics, establish quarterly goals, conduct performance reviews, schedule resources, oversee multiple projects from kickoff to completion, and deliver executive out-briefs. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $164,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Manage consulting engagements focused on advanced Red Team operations and penetration tests, providing subject matter expertise and project management leadership as the primary point of contact for engagements.
Assist in scoping prospective engagements, participating throughout all phases from kickoff to completion, and mentor staff.
Identify, market, and develop new and follow-on business opportunities
Articulate Mandiant’s capabilities during marketing discussions, proposal efforts, and capability briefings.
Supervise staff, provide feedback and coaching, and enhance their technical and consulting skills.
