Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience with Networking, Network Architecture, Networking Protocols, Software Architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 5 years of experience in Kubernetes networking.
  • 5 years of experience working in the AI/ML solution space, GKE and Open Source.
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership.

As the Product Manager for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Networking, you will be responsible for defining a cohesive product strategy that empowers platform teams and developers through unprecedented observability and control via eBPF and ensures granular, declarative security and policy enforcement within and across clusters. You will foster a culture of innovation, leveraging customer insights and market trends to deliver solutions that address both current needs and future frontiers.

You will drive the goal for how developers run, scale, and secure modern containerized applications, encompassing our industry-leading VPC-native integration, GKE Dataplane V2, and advanced Network Policy offerings. A key focus will be on pioneering network fabric solutions specifically designed for powering high-performance, large-scale AI/ML workloads and providing the foundational connectivity and governance for Agentic networking.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Develop product solutions, Mergers and Acquisitions, go-to-market, and business relationships to execute on the market potential and benefits possible from applying Google’s technologies in the enterprise market.
