About the job

Google's leadership team hand-picks thorny business challenges, and members of BizOps work in small teams to find solutions. As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations.

In this Senior Business Data Scientist role, you will be one of the key data science leads on the team. Your primary mission will be to help our Global Business Strategy and Operations (GBS&O) partners make the best possible decisions using data. You will own the full data science lifecycle for high-impact, ambiguous business problems, from initial analysis to strategic recommendation. You will manage a range of high-impact projects (e.g., applying Causal Inference, predictive modeling, etc.), your initial focus will be on our foundational Survey Analytics programs, working closely with Strategy and Operations stakeholders who will own the end-to-end survey processes. In this capacity, you will own the technical infrastructure and advanced analytical roadmap for systems that measure our customer and sales teams ecosystems. This role requires the flexibility to pivot based on evolving business needs. You will act as level-headed and proactive leader to put across organizations to drive alignment and simplicity. You will be ready to get around obstacles, adapt your skills, and push yourself outside of the comfort zone to achieve the goals.
