Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
2 years of experience in full-stack software development.
Experience with backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C++).
Experience with front-end languages (e.g., AngularJS, JavaScript or TypeScript).
Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2 years of experience designing and optimizing distributed applications.
2 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
2 years of experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on project requirements.
Experience with unit testing, agile software development, and bug and change management systems.
Experience designing and building maintainable Application Programming Interfaces (API), especially using Protocol Buffers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$146,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Execute complete tasks within the scope of a larger project, under the guidance of your manager or executive engineers.
Develop modern web application back-ends and REST APIs.
Build new user-facing features, create reusable code and libraries, and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
Apply standard tools and processes to solve defined technical problems and identify and implement optimizations and improvements in codebases and processes.
Collaborate with the product team to provide realistic estimates for project delivery and help identify solution gaps.
