  • 2 years of experience with software development in C++, Java or Rust programming languages.
  • Experience programming in Kotlin.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software engineers to design, develop, maintain, and improve Protocol Buffers (Protobuf) compiler, run times, build, and release infrastructure.
  • Engage in all technical aspects of development from requirements definition and design to implementation and testing often working on complex, large-scale services integral to Google's ecosystem.
  • Own and drive detailed designs, code implementations, and test plan reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables that advance Protobuf capabilities.
