You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
The Geo Auto team delivers mapping products to global automakers. These automakers rely on us for mapping data services, SDKs to power their in-vehicle experiences and autonomous driving systems, and CarPlay/Android Auto projected car experiences.
One pillar of the Geo Auto multi-year strategy is to deploy a camera perception stack in vehicles to maintain a high-confidence and fresh data model of the real world. This sensor data has millions of active users and hundreds of millions of data observations per day.

This position is on Geo Auto team with the focus on AutoSDK product. AutoSDK bring together Navigation and Search API and offer the Automotive developers tools needed to build their own navigation experience.
The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more. Every month, more than a billion people rely on Maps services to explore the world and navigate their daily lives.
The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
