As a Solutions Manager, Data, you will help drive direction, mission, and strategy around key solution areas. The goals of the solution management function is to deliver customer-relevant business outcomes and enable repeatable solutions-based selling. You will develop new solution initiatives and deliver the materials to support them in collaboration with a broad, cross-functional group of stakeholders, including Solutions, Practice Architects, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales. You are accountable to deliver solutions that accelerate customer adoption and improve the effectiveness of field sales to articulate solution-based value propositions to customers.
In addition, you will showcase thought leadership and technical chops by identifying and incorporating industry trends in the database management and analytics space. You will plan, build, and address core market opportunities through solutions-based selling to meet customer’s needs. You will partner with key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the technical and commercial readiness of these solutions, including availability of the assets required to enable the go-to-market teams. You will interface directly with customers, both helping them to understand Google Cloud’s solution offerings and gathering their feedback. Finally, you will recommend ways to adapt as the market and customer needs and priorities shift.
