Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc).
- Experience in Cloud storage and the overall public cloud ecosystem including customer requirements, market trends, competitive positioning.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- Understanding of storage, databases or analytics systems.
- Ability to be a credible product advisor to the storage teams.
- Excellent organization, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Storage team is a critical part of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as well as Google Infrastructure. It is responsible for providing the core Storage products in Cloud like Cloud Storage, File Solutions, Backup and Disaster Recovery, Storage Management and Data Transfer Solutions. This team is also responsible for the Storage infrastructure that is the foundation for all of Google including products like Google Search, Ads, YouTube, Photos, Workspace, etc.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define and advocate a cohesive, differentiated product strategy and long-term goal for Google Cloud Storage including the growing AI/ML landscape and integration with services like Vertex AI.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering to establish and execute against a product roadmap designed to scale the business significantly towards billion plus in annual business, effectively managing multiple products across different stages of growth and maturity.
- Build strong relationships and influence priorities with key internal partners (e.g., Compute, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Data Analytics, Vertex AI) to ensure storage solutions meet workload needs.
- Partner effectively with Go-to-Market teams (Sales, Marketing, Solutions Architects) to define clear GTM strategies, enable the field, provide channels for customer acquisition, and accelerate business growth and adoption.
