Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of product management experience within cloud, networking enterprise or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.
  • Experience with cloud networking.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience in people management and technical leadership.
  • Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction for systems.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders, achieve strategic goals and evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.

In this role, you will define, lead, and align others on a strategic product road map for Google’s infrastructure across Networking and Storage. This role will bring product area focus to engineering teams, driving alignment across all the teams involved with networking switching infrastructure and ultimately ensuring and prioritizing the highest impact activities across Google product areas and delivering on-time to their end customers and users’ needs with highest performance, reliability, while maintaining Google’s overall Efficiency goals.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Craft a compelling Platform storage product-line direction and long-term road map that aligns with market opportunities and company goals. Lead the development of business cases for new product initiatives.
  • Understand customer pain points, use cases, and the competitive landscape in Storage. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams to gather actionable insights.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements definition to launch, iteration, and end-of-life.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Google PAs, engineering and support to define product requirements, create compelling go-to-market strategies, and ensure successful product launches.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Analyze data to identify optimization opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
