  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 8 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or 3 years of experience with a PhD degree

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with Engineers, Product Managers (especially on product-centric insights)
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive product improvements at Google Photos by collaborating with engineers and product managers to drive product decisions.
  • Develop an understanding of the Google Photos product, data and users to address vague and business problems and hypotheses and come up with solutions that improve product and user experience.
  • Focus on the Engagement side of the business, ensuring users enjoy features enough to be retained long-term while expanding the scope of features and scaling the team.
