A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager in a Portfolio Lead role, you will serve as the primary PMO partner to Product, Engineering and Business executive leadership for a dedicated product portfolio. You will leverage your deep expertise to provide strategic oversight and be accountable for the overall delivery success of all programs within your portfolio. You will be responsible for driving the governance process and ensuring that key decisions are made efficiently and in alignment with our broader strategic goals.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal customers to define project requirements, plan detailed project timelines, and proactively manage risks, ensuring clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders. You will leverage your talent for program management, mobilizing cross-functional teams, delivering solutions for scale and data-driven decision making to refine, launch and deploy solutions that improve our engineering teams’ productivity and drive release velocity improvements across the organization. These, in turn, drive success for People Operations and Google.
