5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.

As a Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities include development of the Photos Memories feature. Launched in 2019, Memories helps users look back at moments big and small. Today, it is one of Photos’ most popular and engaging features with monthly active users. In this role, in our Android team, focused on improving the visual aesthetic of our memories and shipping new experiences that spark joy for our users (like our end of year Recap and new genAI creative tooling). This role offers a high degree of autonomy wherein you will be empowered to make key decisions, drive initiatives, and shape the direction of our reminiscing experiences.Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
