Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • 5 years of experience in application or system development.
  • Experience managing executive stakeholders and project management.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience with databases, data analysis, and scripting using SQL/MySQL.
  • Experience deploying AI agents.
  • Excellent creative problem-solving approach and investigative skills, combined with a sense of ownership and a proactive can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of handling multiple stakeholders and workstreams.

As a Technical Architect on the gUP Tools Authorable Workflow team, you’ll be a part of the next big bet for Google customer care, collaborating with a set of cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Design teams to compose, deploy, and test automated workflows; unblock API integrations; and architect in-house tooling and reporting solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment of the Help Guide across gUP products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform workflow designs into interactive experiences that efficiently resolve issues for millions of Google users.
  • Provide guidance on technical and architectural aspects of the AI orchestration from the conceptual phase to delivery. Partner with product engineering teams to accelerate the development and retrofit of APIs.
  • Ensure high-quality output while keeping business leadership informed of status updates. Improve best practices around deploying AI agents to increase efficiency, reusability, and optimize maintenance and delivery of the agentic experiences.
  • Master gTech's tools, advocate for bug fixes and enhancements, work closely with the product engineering team to test features, and implement new features.
