About the job

The ContribService team mission is to build infrastructure solutions to help product teams ingest, store, process, enrich, index and serve multimodal user content. This includes traditional user generated content (UGC) (e.g., place reviews in Google Maps, app reviews in Play Store, ratings on Search, etc.), user-prompted AI-generated UGC (e.g., AI-generated image in Gemini), or agentic content created autonomously for user.

In this role, you will accelerate GenAI customers through user owned or prompted files and media or multimodal contributions for products including Gemini, Shopping, and Search and will deliver full Media support (image, video, audio, files) to onboard all Geo UGC Media and Photos Backend clients. You will stay true to the mission to provide User Data protection at scale and will ensure data protection, safety, and compliance are enforced for current and future regulatory regimes (including DMA and DSA, and also the adoption of the Google-wide Data Protection Standard). You will also accelerate data enrichment (e.g., AI signals generation) and content understanding.
