AI and Future Technologies Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 8 years of experience in software development.
  
• Experience building interactive prototypes to validate product concepts and user experiences.
• Experience applying Human Computer Interaction principles to the design and evaluation of user interfaces.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript and Google Stack, including experience with modern web and application frameworks.
• Proven ability to work with generative AI APIs and libraries.
• Ability to quickly iterate prototypes and move fast on any changes needed.
• Comfortable working on both the front-end and back-end to prove proof of concept.
• Skilled at navigating ambiguity and finding clever solutions to novel technical challenges.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Architect and code functional, end-to-end illustrative prototypes that bring our most ambitious concepts to life.
• Work directly with the latest generative AI models, internal APIs, and experimental hardware to push the boundaries of what's possible.
• Work on unsolved challenges in areas like agent-to-agent communication, context awareness, and cross-device interaction.
• Create the technical foundations that could influence short-term research and long-term direction.
