Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
  • Experience designing and implementing distributed systems.
  • Experience with Agile Software Development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Proficiency in Dataflow, Data Modeling, C++, Java.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the long-term technical goal and roadmap for the new urban mobility data ingestion platform.
  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of a scalable, real-time system, guiding the team through the migration from our legacy infrastructure.
  • Drive project execution through effective planning, setting clear deliverables, and managing priorities in an agile environment.
  • Provide technical guidance, including participating in code and design reviews to ensure high engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, partner engineering teams, and stakeholders to align on requirements and deliver impactful solutions for users.
