Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
2 years of experience with software development in programming language TypeScript.
2 years of experience building developer tools.
Knowledge in JavaScript advanced features; familiar with browsers' compatibility.

In this role, you will be responsible for the TypeScript and JavaScript languages, libraries, and toolings across google3. This scope includes everything from the smallest web apps up through major products like Search, Gmail, and YouTube. You will support the latest in JavaScript standards, TypeScript features, and exceptional TS/JS optimizations that are safe, fast, and easy at every scale.
Our team is responsible for supporting the developer experience, language features, build pipeline, and compilers for TypeScript and JavaScript. You will write web applications that include all of Google’s largest, most important web products (Gmail, Web Search, YouTube, Cloud, and more).The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
