1 year of experience in data analysis, identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from data.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering).
Experience in a data role such as threat intelligence, data science, trust and safety, or fraud analyst.
Experience with SEO, website development, or as a website owner/manager along with knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, Python, or C++.
Experience with machine learning systems and concepts.
Knowledge of large language models.
Excellent communication skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$151,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Investigate and analyze patterns of abuse on Google Search, utilizing data-driven insights to develop counter measures and enhance platform security.
Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may indicate abuse or quality issues within Google Search.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Policy, and Legal, to develop and implement solutions that enhance search quality and user trust.
Translate complex technical analyses into insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Produce intelligence reports on emerging attack vectors and system vulnerabilities in Large Language Model architectures.
