Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance or similar role.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience implementing or auditing U.S. government compliance standards such as FedRAMP, DoD IL4/IL5.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and legal.
  • Experience with the Authorization to Operate (ATO) life cycle for Cloud Products and the development of policies, SOPs, and runbooks.
  • Experience securing and governing data and infrastructure within enterprise and air-gapped cloud environments.
  • Experience leading the end-to-end lifecycle of a Cybersecurity or Cloud compliance project.
  • Understanding of security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks, as well as complies with the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DoDD 8140.01).

As a Technical Program Manager for Cybersecurity Compliance in Google Public Sector, you will be a tactical lead for Cloud compliance, privacy, and resilience initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of security and compliance, enabling us to serve our public sector customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify gaps and facilitate conversations with technical program leads around security and compliance issues. 
  • Triage and manage backlog of security issues and escalations, while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Track and manage security risks and dependencies across different workstreams and projects.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between operations, engineering, product, legal and compliance teams to ensure alignment on security requirements.
  • Manage and track the execution of security and compliance programs, ensuring that we meet our milestones and objectives.
