Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA.
  • Experience using data analysis and modeling tools, including SQL and spreadsheets.
  • Experience with market research, forecast modeling, and sales tools (e.g., SFDC).
  • Experience working in a changing environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to turn data into insights and influence strategy with leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with attention to detail.

About the job

The Chrome Enterprise and Education Go-To-Market Strategy and Operations team acts as a thought partner to Chrome OS, Browser and Education GTM leadership to promote adoption of solutions to customers, schools, and universities.

The team provides data analytics to craft the GTM strategy, as well as insights and operational leverage to ensure their success. The team also works cross-functionally with sales/channel, marketing, product management, and finance to ensure the success of the Chrome Enterprise and Education businesses globally.

In this Strategy and Operations Lead role, you will support global efforts to drive Gemini adoption in universities and colleges. You will work in direct support of the GTM Higher Education AI Adoption team, focusing on strategy, operations, and cross-functional execution. You will contribute to the annual GTM planning process, design and track growth programs, and become the go-to expert on business metrics and performance.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate cross-functional issues and promising growth initiatives by developing frameworks to assess trade-offs and leverage data for objective decision-making.
  • Act as the expert on adoption data, providing critical insights to leadership to support both daily and long-term strategic decisions. Turn market, competitive, and sales insights into growth initiatives and lead programs to test and scale them.
  • Contribute to driving alignment of the GTM strategy with leadership through regular business reviews. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of the Gemini for Education business.
  • Contribute to the annual planning process, define priorities, and assess the holistic strategy. Provide critical day-to-day operational support, including defining and tracking OKRs, managing pipeline and adoption reporting, and securing necessary resources.
