Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
  • Experience in a leadership role focused on large-scale data processing.
  • Experience in managing teams of Google Cloud Marketplace software engineers.
  • Experience leading projects that build and maintain disbursement and transaction processing systems, hiring and developing talent, fostering team well-being, creating agile teams, and reprioritizing projects as needed.

As a part of the Google Cloud Marketplace team, you will accelerate cloud adoption by connecting software providers, ISV's, and sellers with customers. You will empower partners to build on Google Cloud, help customers start their development using high-quality products, and lead onboarding of partners, selllers, and ISV's, while managing financial flows, reporting and partner engagement within the Producer Business Integration team.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of software engineers in Google Cloud Marketplace within the Business Integration area.
  • Ensure software quality across team's domain.
  • Deliver technical thought leadership on complicated and ambiguous projects and bugs.
  • Build and grow talent through hiring, mentoring, and coaching engineers, guiding them towards testing projects and leadership opportunities.
