Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with red teaming, pen testing, purple teaming, network security, wireless security, social engineering, scripting, cloud security, reverse engineering, or incident response.

Preferred qualifications:

Certifications related to offensive security including OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSAS, CCT INF or relevant SANS courses.
Experience working in offensive security consulting.
Experience in two or more of the following: network protocols, threat intelligence analysis, systems and network administration, active directory architecture, application development, incident response, source code review, reverse engineering.
Experience in creating security tools and understanding of underlying programming languages (such as Python, C#, C/C++, Rust, Nim or similar).
Excellent communication, collaboration, and public speaking skills.

This position is open for candidates to sit remote in any state of the United States. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Red Team Consultant to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing cyber security consulting services and support to our clients, including assessing and advising clients on both technical and process-based controls for all manner of environments.

As a Mandiant Red Team Consulting team member, you will be responsible for assessing and advising clients on both technical and process-based controls for all manner of environments. You will perform Red and Purple Team assessments, including adversarial emulation of cyber attacks against customer organizations, and other technical cyber assessments including external pen testing, web application, mobile, and wireless security testing. You will expand the team’s capabilities through tool creation, research on offensive techniques, incorporation of threat actor intelligence, internal presentations, and knowledge sharing. Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences, and act as a trusted advisor to c-level, security leaders and other customer stakeholders. You will develop a keen understanding and familiarity with offensive security, threat actors, and security best practices in general. You will learn advanced adversarial and modern security evasion techniques from executive mentors.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,500-$123,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations; track and drive to closure any issues that impact the engagements and its value to clients.
