Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience in taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience building and leading teams, working with cross-functional partners, and influencing across product areas.
  • Experience translating business requirements into actionable product plan.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience as a Product Manager working on developer or platform products focused on data science.
  • Experience with building or managing Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), developer tools, or code-centric platforms.
  • Experience in data science or machine learning (e.g., building models, feature engineering, data visualization).
  • Experience on GenAI tools and technologies.
  • Experience programming in Python, Spark.
  • Understanding of notebook-based development environments and their role in the end-to-end data science and analytics process.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end product development, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and iteration, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Define and build an innovative developer platform for data science and AI use cases in partnership with Vertex and other teams.
  • Work closely with User Research, User Experience Design and UI software engineers to define user journeys for key personas including Data Scientists and envision, build cohesive and innovative experiences.
  • Lead the integration of cutting-edge generative AI, such as automated code generation and NLP, into the core notebook experience. 
  • Partner with marketing, sales and customer success teams to drive GTM and activation to ensure these new tools are adopted, and manage end-user engagement to new heights.
