Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years in customer-facing technical roles with presenting concepts from developers to C-level executives.
  • Experience with Apigee, RESTful API design, and managing API Programs (e.g., Development, Governance, Product Management).
  • Experience with working in a cloud computing environment (e.g., infrastructure, storage, platforms or data) with Kubernetes and deploying software into Kubernetes using Helm.
  • Experience with coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Experience with Transmission Control Protocol/Internet protocol networking and network path debugging strategies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with customer-facing migration including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations.
  • Experience with software reliability developing or operations.
  • Experience in program management.
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid Cloud environments.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
    (CI/CD) automation and orchestration platforms such as Jenkins, Cloud Build, ArgoCD or related.

In this role, you will work with customers and guide them through deploying, migrating to, and leveraging Google Cloud’s Apigee Application programming interface (API) Management Platform. You will provide API design expertise, Apigee product and implementation guidance, analyze existing customer API programs, and provide recommendations for customer's programs, API products, and related development practices. You will work with Product Management and Product Developing to build and facilitate excellence in the products. You will be working with Google's aCloud customers. You will support customer adoption of Google Cloud products through guidance, best practices, application migration, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, etc.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Deliver advisory, system designs, and solutions for the customers while serving as a technical expert.
  • Work with customers to help shape a program of work to meet their business requirements and outcomes with Google consulting services.
  • Interact with business and partner leads and technical stakeholders to translate customer requirements into recommendations for solutions and consulting services.
  • Work with geographically dispersed internal teams, Product, and Developing to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
  • Understand customer needs, help shape Google’s product strategy, and share the knowledge and skills to grow the team.
