Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience as a full stack or frontend engineer, with a focus on building large-scale tooling or internal platforms and in modern frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue).
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • 1 year of experience with software design and architecture with backend development, including building scalable, reliable Remote Procedure Call (RPCs).
  • Experience with Full-Stack Development, System Design, Front-End Development, Query Optimization, Database Optimization, Tools Development, Back-end, or Web Technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience in a leadership or mentorship role, with a track record of driving projects and elevating the skills of team members.
  • Experience with big data systems and database query optimizations.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

In this role, you will be a key technical leader driving the evolution of our existing tooling into a powerful, self-service platform. You will empower enforcement teams to make most of their own tooling and workflow changes, while also enabling the seamless integration of AI and Agent-powered solutions built by other teams. You will define strategy, mentor other engineers, and drive complex initiatives from start to finish. With your technical experience you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  • Lead the design and development for transforming our tools into a self-service tooling platform, from the user interface to integrations to reliable backend services, ensuring exceptional performance and usability.
