What you'll be doing:

  • Participate in cutting edge Processor design in deep submicron technologies.

  • Work as part of a global circuits team to design innovative circuits (digital, semi-custom and mixed-signal analog) to improve the performance and reliability of Nvidia’s next generation products.

  • Develop timing models and methodology for custom macro design at transistor level along with ones using standard cells and custom designs.

  • Validating the timing of custom circuit design using NanoTime and various SPICE simulations to ensure proper timing of innovative circuit topologies

  • Provide a link between circuit designers, tool developers and chip level timing to validate transistor level timing accuracy and timing test correctness.

What we need to see:

  • Expertise and in depth knowledge of industry standard STA tools such as NanoTime and PrimeTime.

  • Experience in timing constraints generation & management, and timing analysis/closure with mixed-signal designs.

  • Experiences with transistor-level circuit design and ability to perform SPICE simulations for correlation to static timing and noise results

  • Understanding of crosstalk, noise glitch, OCV, and timing margins.

  • Familiarity with clocking specs such as jitter, IR drop, crosstalk, etc.

  • Knowledge of .libs and the usage of .libs in NanoTime as well as in PrimeTime

  • Strong team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.

  • MS (or equivalent experience) in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 3+ years experience in Custom Design and Timing.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Familiarity/experience with transistor-level analog and mixed-signal (AMS) block design such as op-amp, comparator, ADC etc.

  • Hands-on experience in advanced CMOS technologies, design with FinFET technology 5nm/3nm/2nm and beyond.

  • Strong scripting skills for flow automation; experience with TCL, Python is a plus.

  • Understanding of NanoTime algorithms and associated circuit constraint checks is a plus

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
