NVIDIA is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Second Source Program Manager to join our Global Sourcing organization. In this role, you will lead and coordinate all second source qualification activities across key suppliers and product lines, ensuring business continuity, risk mitigation, and supply chain resilience. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, operations, and supplier management teams to drive timely execution of second source programs globally.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead end-to-end second source qualification projects across critical components, materials, and manufacturing partners.

  • Collaborate with Global Commodity Managers (GCMs), engineering, quality, operations, and supplier teams to define requirements, timelines, and deliverables for each second source initiative.

  • Deliver full bill-of-material (BOM) risk assessments, ensuring all components meet sourcing requirements and align with Nvidia’s commodity strategy.

  • Continue to drive product MP pricing during the sustaining phase, collaborating with the finance team, engineering, and Global Commodity Managers (GCMs) to evaluate performance and cost trade-offs.

  • Identify supply chain risks and proactively establish qualified alternative sources to ensure continuity and resilience.

  • Develop detailed project plans, track progress, resolve issues, and communicate status to executive leadership.

  • Partner with suppliers to align on qualification deliverables, schedules, and technical readiness for second source ramp-up.

  • Maintain accurate records of qualification progress, supplier capability assessments, and mitigation plans.

  • Establish and track key metrics for qualification cycle time, risk coverage, and second source readiness.

  • Deliver BOM risk assessment and ensure all parts meet sourcing requirement and align with NV commodity strategy

  • Continue to drive product MP pricing during sustaining phase and work with financial team & engineering and GCM to understand performance and cost trade offs

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (MBA preferred).

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in global commodity management, ideally within the high-tech or semiconductor industry.

  • Proven ability to think strategically and drive innovation in areas such as sourcing, supplier development, and performance management.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong sense of ownership, integrity, and initiative in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

  • Deep analytical skills with a focus on accuracy, thoroughness, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills to manage multiple programs and deadlines.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD.
