Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience in taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • 2 years of experience with working in privacy or security technology domains.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Technology or a Business related field.
  • 8 years of experience in product management with privacy and security domain including confidential compute, cryptography, and data consent and controls.
  • Experience in building and launching Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) for full-stack AI products.
  • Experience with product managing infrastructure software, AI/ML data infrastructure, analytics, and logging.
  • Experience with regulatory products, auditing, and privacy and security policies.

Google’s AI Innovation and Research team is focused on accelerating Artificial Intelligence (AI) growth and redefining how users interact with computing. The team builds the foundational technology that powers intelligent user experiences across various teams. The team builds AI capabilities and core building blocks for on-device and ambient technologies.

In this role, you will drive the innovation of a private AI platform that Google services and consumer products can utilize, to deliver advanced privacy protections to the users.The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop a platform roadmap of external verifiability for the Private AI Platform.
  • Ensure product teams can continue to develop and improve their products, utilizing privacy-enhancing technologies.
  • Deliver the strategy for technical and policy enforcements, and bring the privacy and security community along.
  • Work with teams across Google Deepmind, Machine Learning (ML) Infrastructure, Core, Research, and consumer-facing product teams, in order to launch a unified AI serving platform.
