Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture and testing/launching software products.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
- Experience with Java and TypeScript.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build an effective and engaged team that feels supported by leadership and connected with each other.
- Partner with Product Manager, UX Design, UX Research, and Program Managers to plan, prioritize, and implement projects that drive measurable business growth for Workspace and Cloud.
- Develop a culture of engineering and data practices to enable swift, effective decision-making in a rapidly-evolving business environment.
- Mentor a group of engineers to help them get to the next stage of their career trajectory.
- Collaborate with other Workspace application teams to reach users where they are.
